Get involved

Get involved with WEP, our team keeps growing!

There's a variety of ways you can get involved in changing the life of 10,000 students a year

Much more than a happy island

Working with WEP means joining a team of globe-trotters, passionate about travelling and helping other Australians broaden their horizons. Our goal? Sharing our values of openness, torelance and harmony across different cultures.

A Child Safe Organisation

World Education Program (WEP) Australia actively maintains child safe environments for all program participants and adheres to commonwealth and state regulations governing the safety of children.

Our organisational culture nurtures a commitment to child safety through a comprehensive code of conduct, screening, supervision, training and effective leadership, activities for educating and empowering children, and processes for identifying, responding to and reporting suspected child abuse.

All staff and volunteers must have a valid Working with Children Check, complete a Fit & Proper Person declaration, sign their adherence to WEP’s Code of Conduct, and complete training courses in child protection prior to the start of their appointment with WEP.
