Exchanging what you know for something foreign is not always a simple task, but it can be extremely rewarding. By going abroad, attending a local secondary school and immersing yourself in your host community, you'll gain insight into different customs and cultures, while building friendships along the way!

The boarding school program is ideal for students who want a little more autonomy and to focus on developing great relationships with their peers. Students will board five days a week, spending weekends and school holidays with a host family.

Study Abroad programs like the boarding school program are not registered and supervised by our Regulating Authorities in Australia, as they do not meet the requirement of a volunteer host family and a volunteer host school applying to Student Exchange Programs. However, WEP requires the same level of screening and quality of placements from the overseas partner organisations, and program rules and expectations of our students are the same.
