Why study in Norway?

Like all Scandinavian destinations, Norway is an innovative country known for its excellent education system, combined with a unique natural environment. It's a fantastic place to combine study with relaxed discovery, immersing yourself in Norway's impressive outdoors and tranquil wooden villages.

Norway is best known for its spectacular Trolltunga, a rock formation suspended on a fjord and only reachable through a long, demanding hike, and for the Lofoten archipelago, with its colourful fishing villages perched on picturesque inlets and coves. But Norway is much more than that: what will surprise you the most is the beauty of its lesser known spots, which you won't experience as a tourist but as a local, day in, day out.

You'll get used to long days in summer and many hours of darkness in winter; you'll witness the famous midnight sun and if you're lucky, you'll get to see the Northern Lights; you'll experience a polar climate in December and mild days in August... in short, you'll learn to adapt your life to the rythm of nature, like the locals do.

New ways of communication are waiting to be discovered, teaching you how language is not exclusively made of words, but non-verbal cues and body language language as well. You will also observe and internalise new forms of respect.

Studying in Norway is a magical experience that will help you grow and gain a wider perspective on yourself, your life, and the world in general.

At the end, a continuous assessment system allows Norwegian students to access tertiary studies withouth having to sit an exam.

Tertiary education consists of three levles: bachelor degree, master and PhD. Depending on the chosen education provider and program, courses are offered both in Norwegian or in English.
