More Information
School
School in New Zealand isn't too different to Australia; you'll start at 9am and finish up at 3:00 or 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Of course, each school is different, but generally New Zealand schools are well-equipped and have outdoor space for sport.
Language
Although you will be speaking English in New Zealand, you may be surprised at the difference between New Zealand-English and Australian-English. Just because you speak the same language, doesn't mean there won't be communication challenges!
Climate/Time
New Zealand has a largely temperate climate, but being such a long country, the climate you experience will depend on where you're placed. Auckland has a subtropical climate in summer and an average high of 13.8 degrees Celsius in winter. Christchurch has dry warm summers and cold winters.
Specific Requirements
