Study in Mexico! Ancient traditions in a modern world…
Experience a blend of ancient traditions, Spanish influences and modern Mexican life while you study in Mexico on your exchange program to one of the most captivating cultures in the world.
Once home to ancient civilisations like the Maya and the Aztec, Mexicans are proud of their native heritage and have preserved many traditions, particularly in the arts. In comparison with many other countries, Mexican art is defined by the continued existence and evolution of its ancient traditions as opposed to its decline over time.
Mexicans are also known for their kindness, hospitality, artistic skills, festive spirit and great food. Traditional Mexican specialities include peanuts, beans, coconuts, vanilla and tomatoes. With the arrival of the Spanish, modern Mexican cuisines evolved, integrating European flavours into their own traditional meals.
You can expect to be the town star when you arrive on your student exchange program to Mexico! Mexicans are renowned for their warm and friendly nature. It is typically common in smaller communities for the locals to make you feel welcome and help you in any way they can. They love hearing about foreign lands, cultures and way of lives, so the more you open up to them, the more they’ll open up to you! Just be prepared to open up to the ‘Mexican way of life’ and they people around you will appreciate that you have made the effort to do so!
Experience the old, the new and a blend of both during your WEP exchange to study in Mexico and learn a language spoken by 330 million people around the world.
