Student Exchange In Austria!
Schnitzel, strudel, who wouldn’t want to get to know Austria?! Did you know that Austria is smaller than the Australian state of Victoria…that’s pretty tiny! It’s much more hilly than Victoria though, thanks to the Alps!
Austrians are big skiers and snowboarders (because Alps!) and in summer they’re all about rafting and sailing. Maybe it’s all the exercise endorphins but Austrians are generally pretty happy people and the quality of life in this little country is very high!
Many Austrians live in small village towns with cobblestoned streets, and the capital, Vienna is known as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It is also renowned for being an extremely safe city, with an excellent public transport network consisting of trams, buses and underground trains.
As you explore your village or city, keep your phone ready to take photos of the picturesque squares or streets (keep an eye out for Arnie Schwarzenegger)!
