Secondary Outbound Exchange

The core outbound program for WEP Australia is the secondary exchange program. This involves Australian students going overseas for between three months and one year. Students live with a volunteer host family and attend a typical local high school so that they have the chance to really live the life of a teenager in another country.

Inbound Exchange

WEP Australia has a limited number of places available for students from overseas to live and study in Australia for between three and twelve months. These students are placed with volunteer host families and attend a local secondary school. As part of the program, students usually have the opportunity to participate in a tour to a selected part of Australia. The destination of these tours varies but usually includes Central Australia (Uluru), Kakadu and Sydney.

Inbound Full Fee

A growing number of international students are choosing to come to Australia on the "Full Fee" program. This program provides the benefit of allowing students to choose the school (independent or government) they will attend and to live with either a homestay family or in a boarding house. Conservation Programs, Volunteer Abroad, and Intensive Language Courses

Group Study Tours

Group study tours are tailored to the demand and requirements of a particular school. Students will gain first hand experience of the culture, language and people in their host country through living with a volunteer host family and attending some school classes.
