Ireland has always had a strong connection with Australia. In fact, large numbers of convicts that arrived here around the time of European settlement were Irish!
Things have changed a bit since then, however, the Irish have had to fight hard for their typically green, hilly homeland, making it a source of great pride for all Irish men and women.
Nowadays, Ireland is heavily involved in the development of the European Union and the Irish are known for their hospitality and openness, making it an ideal location for your exchange.

Wednesdays till 1.00pm

School Types
Junior Cycle (age 12-15 years)
Senior Cycle (ages 16-18 years)
School Syllabus
Junior Cycle: Irish, English, mathematics, science, a European language and a subject from either the social, political or environmental stream.
Senior Cycle: The Transition year prepares students in the areas such as social awareness, personal development and work experience. Fifth and Sixth year are spent preparing for the final exam, the Leaving Certificate.

The majority of schools are single-sex schools with obligatory school uniforms
