Your exchange program with WEP Australia is a unique way to learn French while you live with a family in Belgium. There is no language prerequisite for this program and the quality of the French language in Belgium is comparable to France.

Culture

On arrival, the Belgian WEP partner conducts a six-day language and culture program. This introduction to Belgian culture and language includes small informal group activities, classes and sightseeing. The cost of this activity is part of the overall program fee.

Sightseeing

The Belgian program offers students, within the program price, a weekend in Paris and an activity to different historic parts of Belgium every two months. Belgian schools have very good inter-country excursions and trips. French schools tend to only have trips to other parts of France.

Central

France is a large country in European terms and students can find themselves living in a small village for the entire time. When students live in Belgium they are always close to it’s capital Brussels, and it’s central location within Europe means students also find themselves close to the Netherlands, Germany, France and Luxembourg.
