Age

Students aged between 15 and 19. Mature 14 year olds may apply for some destinations. The upper age limit is dependent on the chosen country.

Year Level

Years 9-12 students with a C average. Year 12 students may apply for a year 13 (gap year) program and go overseas for either a short-term, semester or year program. It is important that students apply while still at secondary school.

Academics

C Grade and above.

Language

Two years of language study is required for exchanges to Japan and Mexico. While it is not compulsory to have studied the language for other countries, we do advise that students undertake an intensive course prior to departure if they have no previous experience with the language of their host country.

Health

Physically and emotionally healthy.

Support

Students will require the support of their family and school.

Finance

Students will need to have access to funds for pocket money.
