France is going very well at the moment and I am enjoying my stay here. So far I've been very busy trying to learn the language and improve my french. Life with my host family is going really well - I now think of all of them as family and not as just friends or strangers.

Peter has had a wonderful time - the highlight possibly being yesterday when the cheerleaders sung a chant about him at his last basketball match with the school team. Then the crowd gave him a standing ovation when he left the court. For a 16-year-old sports-mad boy it doesn't get better than that!
