Open Day This Saturday!

Meet WEP staff and returned students this weekend to learn more about WEP's student exchange programs to over 20 countries.

Why go on exchange?

"It is a hard decision to make at first, but once you arrive in your host country you will realise that every second and every minute of your two months, semester or year is a rewarding cultural experience."
~ Hyun-Min went on a short-term program to France in November 2009

"Living in another country was a whirlwind experience"

As most of you know, the idea of taking a gap year has been receiving a lot of positive attention by the media, parents and students alike over the last five to ten years. I had always wanted to do something different, something that would really challenge me, something that I knew I would enjoy.

Learn German in Germany!

Centuries of rich history are obvious when wandering through a typical German village where castles and old town halls look like something out of a fairy-tale. However in this progressive society of forward thinkers, it is of no surprise that this country is sure to impress with more than architectural relics of the past!

Carpe Diem!

After years of wanting to lean a language, I finally found the perfect way to master it: immersion. I applied and was accepted to be an exchange student for a year with WEP in the tiny but gutsy country of Belgium. My lucky number being 9 and the year being 2009 I felt invincible and was more than ready to meet the challenge!
