To apply to be an exchange student with WEP, download our application form (only students enrolled in a school in VIC, NSW, or QLD are eligible) and send it along with a $500 deposit to our head office:

Once your application has been processed, you will be contacted by a member of staff or a local coordinator to arrange a time for interview. The prime objectives of the interview are for WEP to get to know you, to gain an understanding of the motivations behind your undertaking an exchange program and for us to ensure you are mature and responsible enough to deal with the day-to-day challenges of an overseas exchange. The interview will be conducted in your home or in some cases at a mutually convenient venue. We have provided some tips on this website to assist students in preparing for the interview.
Soon after your interview you will receive correspondence from WEP Australia regarding whether or not you have been accepted into our program. Upon acceptance in Australia, your application is then sent overseas where it must be approved by our partner organisation in the country of your choice. Once approval has been received from this partner you have been accepted into the program and a match with the most suitable host family will be commence.
